Hi Juanita, Thanks so much for answering my message. I am a Hopper by marriage. My husband, Boyd, is descended from Charley A., James A., Archibald, Charles Hopper. There seems to be a lot of people researching the Hoppers with a lot of different conclusions.My sister-in-law, Evelyn Hopper Hunter is also researching the Hopper line and we have believed for some time that Susan Penn was not the Mrs. Hopper that went to Texas with her children. I'm so glad to hear that someone else has reason to believe she died in TN. Do you have any other info on her? We have Charles' second wife as Clarkey O'Neil. I do show Cynthia (Sinthy) as sister to my Charles. His parents were Charles Sr. and Martha. I show Cynthia and Lastley with 13 children. I only have a few names of the kids but one name I have is Jane born in 1832. I don't have anything else on Jane. I don't know if Evelyn knows more. She is off line right now. They are moving from their home in Casper, WY to their winter quarters in Quartzsite, AZ. We are in our winter quarters in Hidalgo, TX. Boyd and I are full-time RV travelers and were off-line during the summer as we traveled so Evelyn is a little ahead of me. We try to keep each other updated as best we can.
