HI Suzanne,
Had a few minutes so I'll finish what I started.

Obit from "Tulsa World" undated-1974

W. Elmer Harber

Shawnee OK W. Elmer Harber, chairman of the board of American National Bank & Trust Co. was buried here Monday.
Harber, 82, died in a hospital here Saturday following a lengthy illness.
Harber was referred to as a man who went from bank janitor to president in 10 years and was a millionaire many times over.
Altho his major accomplishmentdwere in the field of banking and finance, Harber also held oil lands in OK, Tex., Kans., New Mex.,and the southern states.
Survivors include his widow Lisbeyh, of Shawnee, a sister, Mrs Pearl Harwell, Tulsa, three brothers,Raymond Harber and Russell Harber both of Seminole and Wayne Harber , Tulsa, a step-daughter, Dorothy, of Shawnee, a step son J. Wrexell Spurr, Kingston, and six grandsons.

I noticed the Spurr name and the Spurr name after Maude Stroud, do you know why? I don't find any thing more about the Strouds.

Hope allof this helps, if I can look up anything else for you let me know. By the way that W. Elmer was some guy, wasn't he?

Juanita
