Gary;

Are you still around? Just saw your message for the first time. If you and your family have lived in Lexington for a long time, and your dad's family is from that area, there is a good chance you connect to my Hansford family.

Lexington is basically north of Wayne, Pulaski, and Casey Counties where my Hansford line lived in the very early 1800's. They were pioneers from Virginia who helped settle that area of Kentucky. Tateville is also in that area, named after the prominant Tate family who were close to my relatives. In fact, my grandfather had an "Aunt Tate"; some of the extended families had named their children after the well liked Col. Samuel Tate.
