Hi Maxine, My name is Christopher Vickers. My Grandmother was May Anne Hampson who married John Stenhouse in 1921. May Anne was James Hampson's (1863)daughter. The present information I have is the same as yours with the exception of definite proof that Jonathan Hampson's father was John Hampson (1773). The John Hampson I have seems to have married a Ann Woodho which could be Woodhouse although I am not sure. If it is this John I think I can go further back a generation at least.
