Saw DEBLIEUX in your name, checked out your postings and saw several Natchitoches/Cane River postings. Valery DEBLIEUX, Jr. m. Eloise LEMEE in Natchitoches. The Lemee House in Natchtioches is "a few doors down" from Tante Huppe owned by Bobby Delieux. Ring bells? Bobby and I are cousins.
Now......that said, I'm preparing a family history for a friend here in Austin,TX. whose relative (SANARENS or TREPAGNIER - I can't look at my records while online-ARGH!) m. a DUGAS. They moved to CA where she died. Is that anyone you know about? If so, please tell me more about his DUGAS ancestors. Email me at email@example.com.
Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. fyi - I found Alexandre DeBlieux in Camden Parish,GA in 1808 where he was one of the original subscribers to the Presbyterian Church there. I've notified Bobby about this. Certainly, the DeBlieux's were not protestants. One of Alexandre's children was b. at St-Mary's, Camden.
My Lemee's were in St-Domingue,then Charlston (where Alexandre was in 1807 before going to Camden then Washington Parish and eventually to Natchitoches where the Lemee's were as well.
