JAMES ERNEST GREATHOUSE "The Fisherman" Stories have been told that James could catch a world record bass in a mud puddle. He was born March 16, 1941, in Brownfield, Texas. His parents Ernest C. Greathouse and Gussie Merle Vick-Ozment-Greathouse. He was raised in Yuba City, California, but left his heart in Olympia, Washington. James passed away April 9, 2006 at the Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington, after a long bout with cancer. Leaving behind his wife Ruth of Olympia,Washington, his children James and Kimberly Greathouse of Yakima Washington, Sean Greathouse of Seattle, Washington, four grandchildren and one great-granchild; 2 step-daughters, Kimberly and Kathleen Kettwig of Olympia, Washington. He also leaves behind sisters; Rita Merlene Kincannon of Tacoma, WA, Veda Jhree Greathouse of Gridley, CA and Linda Thornsberry of Biggs-Oroville, CA and his brother John Edward Greathouse of Marysville, CA. |
