I am seeking parentage info. on John Grant b. 1771, Tuftonboro, NH; m. Martha Perkins Grogan b. 21 Oct 1783, Castlemarty, Ireland. There is a land segment in Tuftonboro, NH, named after an Edward Grant; any relation? Also, The history is that a group of merchants purchased large grant land in Tuftonboro. Grogans had been landed gentry in Ireland; apparently were land "speculators" here. Wondering if Grants (parents of John), Grogans (father of Martha) and Fagans (mother of Martha) were "economically" tied. Martha's parents (Grogan/Fagan) were cousins. Mary Jaffe Port Orchard, WA
