Documented dates of the Georgia Grant line that came into Pope Co. AR. Marion Grant born May 9, 1849 died Feb. 20, 1935 married second to M. E. Tate born; July 3, 1855 died; August 15; 1890; marriage in October of 1881 in Hall County, Georgia. Children were (headstone dates) Rafe Odum born;April 22, 1883-died; July 17, 1905--- Fred Roy born; January 21, 1886 died;July 26, 1899 and Marion Arch born January 4, 1889. Third marriage to Judith Francis Whelchel Coffee#1 Grant#2 born;March 4, 1860 died; July 17, 1927 marriage to Marion Grant November 6, 1892 in Pope County, Arkansas their only child was Hosea Grant born August 13, 1893. Marion Grant, M.E. Tate, Judith Francis Whelchel and Judith's first husband Edward Coffee are from Hall County, Georgia. Most of their children were born in Pope County, Arkansas.
