I am working on a family history to family ties to a Charles Grabenstein (Sept 1885) who in 1915 married an Amelia (Emily) Louisa Matthews( 21 June 1895 - Jan. 1987) in Letcher, Sanborn Co., SD. They had three sons: LeRoy, Raymond and Elbert "Smokey" Grabenstein. Their daughter Maxine married a William Carter and Florene married a Jim Hibbs. All were born in Lecther.
