From my file: Mary Robertson [Israel, Nicholas, Edward, Christopher] was born after 1720 in Brunswick County, Virginia and died 1816 in Davidson County, Tennessee. She was married to Abel Gower Sr. who is covered earlier in this document, along with many of their descendants. Debie Oeser Cox cautions in 2005: “I’m not aware of any sort of evidence that indicates that Abel Gower was married to a sister of James Robertson or daughter of Israel Robertson or of any definitive data on the identity of Abel Gower’s wife.”
