Jessica: Sorry it's after Christmas but I have been looking through Sen. Albert Gore Sr's file that he sent me before he died and I'm afraid I can't be of much help but something might click. I did not find a James R. Goare/Gore b. 1848 but I do find a James L. Gore who married an Elizabeth unknown b. 1828 - twenty years off. No more information on him. There are three Davis' who married Bryants but this is in the mid 1740's - no other recent Davis' mentioned. Not much for you to go on but thought I'd reply to your query anyway. Clydene
