I do have data on John Goodwine and Martha Heady but again it is too much to type so will send a separate email with attachment.
A few comments regarding the ancestry of John concerns the frequent postings that shows John Goodwine m. to Namoi Potter, as our John Goodwine. This John and Naomi were Quakers. I have found this is faulty data.
Following Naomi's death, John Goodwine (the Quaker) was married to a Tacy Jones ( 7th mon 17, 1777 - Goshen meeting) Tacy was the administrator of his will filed 27 1783 Chester County, Pennsylvania. Goshen meeting records John Goodwines birth as 3rd mo 14, 1731.
Our John Goodwine was married to Martha about 1771 and had their first child, Thomas, 1772. The Quaker John was still married to Tacy during this time. Futher our John Goodwine's will was file 1832 in Spencer County, Kentucky. This was 49 years after the Quaker John died. The 1830 Spencer County, Kentucky Census indicates John was 70-79 years of age or born 1751-1759.
These two men are clearly different men. The father of our John Goodwin needs to be identified before the line can be developed to an earlier time.
