Yes, there is family. Will have to get my file out. Preston, his wife and 5 children left Lexington, Ind. to go to Mo. Somewhere along the way, he and his brother went into the woods where he was scalped by the indians. No one knows where he was buried. Emaline married again to Foster Watson, a widower. He died 6 yrs later. Records show she cared for his mother until she died. Then cared for a dau, her husband and child, all died in a 3 yr period. The home in Mo. was on the Carroll/Ray cty border which sometimes has relatives listed in both ctys. While Emaline and family later took train to Ca. we never found where Foster or his 1st wife are buried. Next to where the home stood, is a cemetery with a goat pen on it. That's a story in itself. Floods past ruined it but we managed to uncover over 50 markers in a thunder storm. It had never been read. Have you gone into other lines of the Gobin/Goben family?
