Matilda Sarah Glassop married my Great Grandfather Charles Harris Shellard 24 Robert Apr.1848 in Stepney London.One of their sons Henry Robert Valentine Shellard b.28 Aug 1876 married Agnes Amelia Harris .They in turn had 7 children: 1)Charles Joseph who emigrated to Brazil in 1910 and married a Dutch woman Daisy von Sohsten (my grandparents).This started the Shellard clan in Brazil. 2)Elizabeth,3)Florence,4)Margaret...all remained spinsters and lived and died in St.Leonards on sea. 5)Robert an artist who emigrated to the U.S.who we have no information on. 6)Harry Valentine Shellard ,also an artist who emigrated to the U.S.and returned to the U.K.1937. 7)John Alfred Shellard who married and remained in England and whose grandaughter I've just recently started corresponding with.(We met on the Shellard Genealogy forum).
