In the 1930 Census for Lewis County, KY, there is an Ira Gillam with wife Marie. According to the Census Ira was 28 years old in 1930 and was born in KY. Marie was 23 and also born in KY. They had been married 4 years and had children: Oscar, Rebecca and Burton, ages respectively, 4 years 4 months, 2 years 4 months, 11 months. I am not sure if this is your Ira as you said he was born in the 1800s. This one was born about 1902. He is living next door to a Kate Gillam, age 55.
