Seeking information on Louisa Gilbert born abt 1820 probably in Carmel, Putnam, NY and who married Sylvester L. Gardner. Her father was James C. Gilbert possibly born 1790-1800 in Dutchess (Putnam) County, NY; living 1820 in Carmel, Putnam County and in Troy, NY in 1830 according to census records. James C. Gilbert may be the son of a John Gilbert who is the only Gilbert listed in Frederickstown (later called Carmel) in 1790 and in Carmel in 1800.
