A few corrections. William Gifford (d. 1687) of Sandwich, Massachusetts, was a Quaker, and, not only because he was a Quaker, but also because he died many years before, he did not serve as a soldier in the Revolutionary War, nor did he own anything like a manor.
You can search the net and find any number and names for his wives, but the fact remains that the mother(s) of most of his children remain unknown, and only his marriage in 1683 to Mary Mills is known from records.
