More info on earlier post Johann Furcht was born December 7th 1824 arrived in the United States June 28 1846 in New York City. I have found information on a family tree that the Furcht family resided in Kerstlingerode area in the 1600s. I am hoping they were still in the area during the early 1800s. I have no idea how to search in Germany or where to begin my search. Any pointers will be appreciated. I have not information on Louisa except she was born in 1823 in Germany and died Nov 8 1876 in Pennsylvania.
