I am actively trying to find out about my family and my relatives. I dont even know most of the names, but my Grandfather, John Joseph Gerace Jr was born in Hoboken, NJ, and he married my grandmother, Grace Sturm. They had 6 children(my aunts and uncles, John(my father), Paul, James, Mary, Cristine, Barbara. I know my grandpa had a brother named Joe that I believe passed away around 1989 from colon cancer, and my grandpa passed away from the same things in 1990. My dad said that they lived in a large 3 or 4 story apartment building in the Bronxe when he was growing up. I know my great grandfather was mafia or something similar, as he was shot in the shoulder running a police road block during prohibition, and went to prison, and then was given a presidential pardon after prohibition ended. Other than that, I have no idea about anyone other than my immediate family and I want to know more. If anyone might have any knowledge, please help me out.
