Hello Tom Georgeson, Having been dropping in on 'our' website from time to time it seems likely that we may have a distant family background in common. My grandmother, Isabella Margaret Irvine, from Tingwall, married Peter Georgeson, from Walls, on 18 January 1900. She was one of three sisters who married three Georgeson cousins. On the maternal side of the family, my great grandfather, Harald Carlsen came from Norway, and since then we seem to keep crossing and recrossing the North Sea - in best Shetland Bus fashion.
