Seeking any information on John George, born in Virginia c1855, died in Montgomery County, N.C. in 1929. Here is his story......Born in Va., moved to Alabama or Georgia, father died first, mother died aftera a long illness, signed up for military service after his mother died, was a woodcutter prior to moving to N.C., became a farmer, wife or girlfriend had a child that died in childbirth, gave the child to an older couple in Moore County, N.C., married Malinda Sanders, she died in 1905, married Sarah Elizabeth Moore..........ANYONE that has the slightest information, please post.....I can only find him in the 1910 and 1920 census...On the death certificat and both marriage licenses, it lists unknown as parents..PLEASE HELP.
