How big is your chart? The graphics file saves as bitmaps unfortunately use the incredibly inefficient Windows Bitmap file format. They also save the file with the same color depth as your screen display.
So if you currently have your screen set to a 32-bit color display and you then adjust it to an 8-bit display (256 colors), you will be able to save a chart that is 4 times as large as when it was set to 32-bits. The limitation here is the amount of free RAM memory.
Once the chart is saved you should then use a graphics program to convert it to a more efficient graphics format such as jpg, gif, png, etc.
