Sounds like your your Windows file association for .uds files has been reset to something other than Generations.
Here is an easy fix.
First of all you need to copy any saved copy from your flash drive or CD to your hard drive. Then run Generations, click on EasyTree, and navigate to where you saved the copy on the hard disk. Open the saved file. That should work fine.
