This if the first time I printed a chart in v8.5a (Broderbund) although I printed many in v8.0 (Sierra). I did install the printing patch for v8.5a. These are the problems I encountered:
1. I inserted pictures into my chart. When the picture was pasted in and showed up on the screen, it had changed from the one I thought I would see. Approx 1/16" slice from the right of the picture was attached to the left side of the picture in all cases. At first I was not sure what happened because the right sides were light. But then it was obvious when I had an oval picture inserted and could see exactly what happened. Is there anyway to fix this? These pictures were black and white so I just put a thick black line around them to distract from the misplaced piece which helped a little. But in color pictures, this would be a very noticable problem on a chart and would really make it look bad.
2. On many pictures, I selected black corners to add to the picture. When I printed the chart, the corners printed as light dots barely visable and not as the black solid ones I selected and could see on my screen before I printed. How can I get it to print exaclty what I am seeing on the screen?
3. The border for pasting/taping together the charts is much smaller than I was used to in v8.0. In this version, the edges are only about 1/16". In my old version, I had a good 1/8" and maybe a little larger. This was easier to glue together. Any way to change the size of the edge. I made sure I did not select no edge?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
