One way to check for crosslinks in the database is to see if other reports and charts involving the person also have problems. See if you can create those traversing that person. If they also do not work, then there are some crosslinks.

Generally the fix is to copy the information for the person in question onto a new card, create all the links from others to that new card, then delete the old card. After deleting the old card empty the trash. That almost always fixes the problem.
