I had a similar problem about one year ago and this is how I solved it. First, create a GEDCOM of your uds file using only dates/places of B/M/D, i.e., do not include any other options and do not include the sources. Now go to legacyfamilytree.com and download their free version of Legacy. Open Legacy and create a new file. Import your uds GEDCOM file, being sure to uncheck the box to reuse what Legacy calls MRINs and RINs. These correspond to the ID numbers that Generations generates. If there are any crosslinked names in your uds file, Legacy will, hopefully, find them and give you an error report. If you have crosslinking, use the MRINs and RINs to cross-reference to the applicable persons in your uds file.
