I tried moving the branch, but whenever I drag anything sideways I get the "This move will cause the boxes to overlap" message. Realising that the branch being moved is anything beneath the dragged person in an enhanced hourglass chart, I tried moving the whole lot of bottom people over to the side. Again, the overlap message. I can move them up and down OK.
I can move the people as a single movement, but still can't make the page wider. I have tried playning with alteringthe page width, but it is only really possible on the roll printer (which is at work. They might notice if I took it home!). When I drag a box when selected to global, the spacing between boxes increases rather than the whole lot moving.
I seem to recall changing lines at one stage a few years ago. When I dragged a person I changed the orientation of the line to make it look better. I think it was with Easychart, but now I can't find it.
If it is OK I can send you a copy of the chart file so you can see what I mean. I do realise you are very busy.
