I have Generations 6. I'm trying to transfer to another program. Main problem [i've tried FTM, Family Historian and Master Genealogist] I have a lot of NOTES - with a lot of SOURCES in the notes. #1 all the notes wrap - there are no paragraphs. This happened in all 3 programs. However, I really like Family Historian - it's so much like Generations.

so these NOTES from my Generations:

1880?? Pead
1860 1870??

have pics of her

I love my Generations program, but am afraid of the FUTURE!!!! I don't want to have to do a major update when I'm 80 - I'd rather do it now!

I liked family tree maker because it ties in with ancestry - tells you when there are hints, etc. rather than having to go from a separate program to ancestry and copy things back and forth.
