Hi Shirley: I had to switch way back when I upgraded to my machine to XP. Took a long time, but I finally settled on Legacy Family Tree (www.legacyfamilytree.com). It has the same "look" as the Generations I switched from, and now that I've been using it for several years, I do like it. I have to admit, I still miss Generations! Anyway, you can download the Legacy software for free (you have to pay for the Deluxe Edition, but it's only about $40). I convert uds files into GEDCOM for folks all the time, and I'm happy to do it for you. I suggest you give it a try. If you have any questions, email me! Natalie
