To progress from Generations v5.2 to v8.5a you need to copy your .uds family files from the Sierra/Gen5 folder to the Program Files/Generations folder. Do not use GEDCOM because doing so risks losing data. You say you are trying "to get the info out". Please clarify what you wish to do. Out of where, to where? Regards, Trevor Rix
