That was great, Al! Actually, I think the 2nd newspaper had the wrong spin...if "no medicine" allows you to live to 100, well, makes me think twice! On this discussion, here's one of my favorites. Texas is known for the unusual names of its cities. We have Gun Barrel City, Notrees, Muleshoe, etc. Among them are the towns of Leakey and Comfort. Sure nuff, one obituary a while back read "Leakey Woman Dies in Comfort" Happy Hunting! Andrea (And before all my fellow Texans post to correct me, I do know that Leakey is verbally pronounced "Lakey." But when you read it... :) |
