Hi I am trying to trace family to Spain but Spanish Genealogy information seems limited on the web and most spanish records, I've been told, were destroyed in 1936 Spanish civil war. I am trying to trace a Josefa Maria (Mareea)Garcia, born 1880 in Spain, possibly Ronda, Andalucia. Her father was Antonio Garcia. A member of the family remembers Delgado as a family name so she may have been a Delgado Garcia or Garcia Delgado. Her marriage certificate from Gibraltar in 1902 states Garcia only. I have been in touch with the Malaga Diocese and they have advised most pre 1936 records were destroyed. Any ideas on where I can go forward with this? Thank you Rhiannon
