I read thru your forum, I am a descendent of Levi(2) Holloway. Here are 3 items that I have different information. I wanted to give you my information so that could compare.
Item 1 Wife of John(2) Holloway - Dorcas Beck died in 1885. See FindAGrave Bradley-Holloway Cemetery Marker
Item 2 Wife of Levi(2) Holloway - Jane Warner. I have her last name as Chatman or Chapman. Her father John Chatman was living with her on the 1880 census in Douglas County. Also Death Record for Elias Holloway list mother as Chapman and father as Levy Holloway.
**Interesting note for Elias is the birth year varies greatly on the census papers vs death record
Item 3 Samuel(3) Hopkins Holloway son of Solomon(2) Miles Holloway.I believe is not the person who served in the 30th Reg Ga Volunteer Inf CSA Campbell County. As you indicated there were 2 Samuel Holloway's (1st cousins). I believe this is Samuel Holloway son of Levi(2) Holloway. Several of Levi's sons served in this regiment and enlisted on the same day.
Now to my question:
I was hoping that you had found more information on Solomon(1) George Holloway and Sarah Patterson. I can find no record of them at all. They are not listed on any census records that I can find for Georgia between 1800-1850.
Have you found any proof that they are parents of John (2), Levi(2),& Solomon(2)?
Thank you for all of you hard work that you have listed on this family.
