In a listing of deaths on the Sumter Co, GA webpage is A. H. Davenport, d. 23 aUG 1883 in Texas. I believe this may be Almanza H. Davenport who was born abt 1835 and is found in the 1860 census in Marion Co, GA. There is also a A. H. Davenport in the 1880 Camp Co, TX census that is the right age. He married Mary W. Feagin in 1858 in Sumter Co, GA. I haven't found him in the 1870 census. Any help on this couple would be much appreciated.
