In Double Heads Baptist Church cemetery the following graves were found: (notice the different spellings of Edmon) Edmon Gross born 12/11/1830 died 08/30/1906 Edmond C Gross born 03/30/1861 died 02/22/1916 .. husband of Annie V Gross Maggie Graham Gross wife of Edmund Gross Jr born 09/07/1851 died 03/09/1890 In the McBride Methodist Church the following grave was found: Edmund B Gross 1818 - 1890 James Edmund Gross born 6/21/1872 died 4/23/1940 with his wife Rozzie Brant Gross born 9/14/1875 died 2/15/1956 You can find these graves and others posted on www.findagrave.com Look up Screven County Georgia cemeteries.
