I am wondering if anyone can help me a bit. From the Paulding Co. Website for usgenweb.com, I have the following: Paulding New Era October 4, 1883 http://www.rootsweb.com/~gapauld2/news/PNE/newsPNE.1883.1004.shtml Shelton, John appointed administer of Martin Shelton's estate. Paulding New Era 8 May 1884 http://www.rootsweb.com/~gapauld2/news/PNE/newsPNE.1884.0508.html Turner, John H. appointed administer of Martin Shelton estate. What I need to know is WHO to contact for copies of these Court Papers and possibly the settlement of his Estate. Do I call the Probate Court? The Clerk? WHO??? Or do I write to someone and who would that be. I live in north AL and this is the only way I know to obtain these records. Thanks in advance.
