All of my findings are solely based on census records. Mary was 1st married to Eligah Baker. I have not found an actual record of this marriage so I am assuming they were married. They appear on the 1850 Census Militia District 951, Paulding Georgia. Eligah is 19 on this record, Mary is 17 and there is one male child, John, who is less than a year old. This family again appears on the census of 1860 living in District 1207, Paulding, Georgia. The household is as follows. E Baker, 30 years old, Polly Baker age 25, John Baker age 11, Rebecca baker age 8, and Frances Baker (listed as a male) age 3. I am assuming that Mary is actually Mary Polly and she is the same Mary listed with these children on the next census with T P Brown.
