Hi Sue,

Missouri LeSueur is a distant cousin of mine but I grew up coming to Dallas and spending weeks in the summer with Tina Sanders. She was my grandmother's best friend and like an aunt to me. I call her aunt Tina. Her grandmother was Carrie Foster Sanders, sister to James B. Foster.

Growing up around the family I always called him Uncle Jim too. I would always ask her to tell me about when Uncle Jim was shot by Grover Atcheson.

I have been working on a history of Dallas for a couple of years now, thanks in part to Tina and her mother, Ora Lee Sanders', stories from my childhood.

I just thought I would write and see how you connected. I'm sure youhave lots of info and pictures but if you dont, I do have a good many or know where to get them.

When I was a kid I had a picture of Dr. T. J. Foster in his confederate uniform hanging in my bedroom...haha

Good to hear from you,

Jason Lee Edwards
