The 1870 Mortality Schedule of Paulding County, Georgia, [enumerated by Dr. E. M. Carter], reports my ancestor, Lucinda [nee' Stroud] Miller died October of 1870 of Typhoid Fever. She was 34 years old. This family lived at District #1053 in 1860 & in 1880 at California District. Does anyone know if District 1043 & California District are the same location? and as a followup...where within Paulding County were they located/what are these areas now named.
