Seeking info. about any the children belonging to Thomas & Nancy "Tippitt" Johnson, Allen & Jane Johnson, or a Henry Johnson who probably lived in Paulding Co., Ga. Thomas Johnson was born abt. 1795 in S.C., and died abt. 1880 in Haralson Co., Ga.! In 1878 his will was document'ed in Haralson Co., Ga., he stated to be buried at Bethleham Church Cem., he and Nancy had three known son's; Leroy N.,born 1823, George M, born abt. 1825, and William M. Johnson born abt. 1819/1821, Wm. married Mary Ann Ayers, and he was a deacon at Bethleham Baptist Church in 1848. His father; Thomas Johnson was ordained a deacon in 1843, at the same church! I would like very much to contact anyone working on these line's! Thomas & Allen were brother's, and they both were list'ed in the 1850 Census of Paulding Co., Ga.! Allen later went to Polk Co., Ga. abt. 1860. He is listed as a member to the Van Wert Baptist Church minutes 1840-1849! Allen's wife is only found in census as Jane, would like to know who she was before marrying Allen Johnson! Thomas married Nancy Tippitt Dec. 25, 1825 in Greene Co., Ga., and they were on the 1830 Census of Butts Co., Ga.! Also listed on the 1850 Census of Paulding Co., and the 1860, and 1870 Census of Haralson Co., Ga. I would like to contact anyone working on these line's of Johnson's.
