Searching for either a lawyer of other persons that for a fee would be willing to look up a property deed. 1854 Mr. Jared Handley gave land in Tyrone GA for a cemetery. It is called Hopewell Cemetery. Some say it was in 1895 I do not know. Am searching for a deed as to the owner of this cemetery is. Until abt 1998 Hopewell Methodist Church sat on the property next door and was assumed it was part of the church grounds. 2009 the church assumes no responsibility for upkeep, neither does the city or community. A volunteer group is trying to organize for this purpose, however, we do not know who owns the property or even who to talk with. Found records that a new part opened in 1954 abt 100yrs after the original land was given. Any one willing to undertake this for me I would appreciate.
