I am still searching for this family. Jonathon S. Thomas was partners with T. S. Register or "Boy" Register in 1875-1877 in a retail grocery store in downtown Eastman Ga. He then up and left and he is on the 1880 census as a retail grocer a long side Napoleon Weatherly in Appling Co. Ga. He is also married to a woman named Mary. He has his sister in law living with him, Elizabeth aged 65 and a young boy named John Blanton age 23 from NC living with him. If you have any information on this man please contact me.
