"My" Michael Meehan was born about Jan. 6, 1867 in Ireland, the son of John Meehan and Catherine/Ellen Griffin. I believe he was my great-grandmother Ellen Meehan's brother. Michael arrived in the US in the 1870s-1880s and married Irish-born Anna Furey in 1886. Together they had one child who died as an infant or young child. While my great-grandmother Ellen and her family (including her husband Peter Brennan) remained in Brooklyn, NY for good, Michael and Anna Meehan moved to California in the late 1890s and settled in Redondo Beach where they lived until their deaths. Michael died in 1925. Anna lived anther 25+ years, dying in 1954. Sorry for the delay in answering your question. Hope this helps. Lauren
