Bill, I am not absolutely sure, but I think that the J.P. is B.P. for Burwell Pope Fullilove, Jr. (1856-1940) He was my Great, Great Uncle and the photo that you have seems to match others that I have of he and his family. He was a Methodist preacher and pastored several churches in Mississippi from to 1880's to the 1930's. There are several photos of his family on my website.
