Good Question -- I have not checked the Rockingham will index to see if it's there, but most of the wills of that time period were burned. The will is in the clerk's office -- along with the old deeds and marriage books -- in Land Dispute Book #1, p 111. There is also an old plat which shows the lands of 1. John Fudge, 2. Conrad Fudge & Christian Fudge, his son, & 3. Daniel Fudge & Jacob Davidson (these three tracts were adjoining)on p. 252 in the case of Jeremiah Harnsbarger vs. Stephen Conrad. Best, Jan |
