Would like to hear from any family or descendants of John & Mary (Frankland) Keenan was born in Ireland about 1844; Mary Frankland was born in Rhode Island about 1846. They were early residents of Seattle, where their children were born 1870s-1880s. Came to Spokane, WA, about 1890, where Keenan worked as a stonemason, contractor & builder. He was named supervising contractor for building of new Spokane County Courthouse 1893-1895. Their son Phillip was a brick mason. Mary and Phillip lived in Spokane after John's death, c.1904, until about 1913 when they moved to Seattle. Phillip died in Cashmere, WA, in 1968. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated. I am researching the history of a house Keenan may have built in Spokane in 1892. |
