Hi Mark Thanks for the response to my querie. I sent that in over two years ago and have found out much info since then but still nothing on Melissa. I found the family bible for Abraham A. Fonda (1759-1804), the father of Isaac Abraham , (1785-1843). With it was much info on the family but Melissa is not mentioned. She cannot be a dau. of Isaac as he was dead long before she was born yet she grew up with the family. I have the family on Alexander and also Abraham so do not know where she fits in. Are you tied into this branch in any way. Nate
