Joe, My paternal grandmother's maiden name was Fobbe. We are from Michigan where her family settled. I know her father was Frank Fobbe and she has brothers names Bill and Al. Frank immigrated to Canada from Germany in the early 1900's specifically Saskatchewan. I have old photos of his siblings in Germany. I don't know if any of this info is related but its alwasy good to hear from someone researching the same surname even if it is 3 years later. Best of luck Maureen
