Flint was born at Bonn's Creek, Montgomery Co., NY, May 4th, 1814. Mr. Flint is a farmer, and came to Pike, Wyoming Co., NY when ayear old (1815) with his father, Joshua Flint, of Dutch-English origin and a native of Montgomery Co., NY. His father located on a farm on East Street, and beginning with nothing except industry and frugality succeeded well in life, and died March 20th, 1873; his wife, JANE AIKINS, a native of Connecticut, Jan. 18th, 1853. The only survivor of the family is George W. Flint, who married JANE ANN HILLER, in 1847. Her father was Jacob J. Hiller, a native of Schoharie Co., NY, of Dutch origin, who located in East Pike, Wyoming Co., NY, in 1837, and died in Castile, NY, in 1877.
