Sorry, Dick, to have not responded to your post, but I haven't checked the message board in awhile. I cannot help you, but thank you for your information. This is the first verification that this Flanders family did live in Exeter, and I am almost certain this "Elder Flanders" would be my great great grandfather. His second son was born in Exeter in that same year. He continued to perform marriage ceremonies after they moved to New Brunswick, and all I can tell you is they gave their religion as "Free Baptist" whatever that meant! (perhaps "Free Will Baptist"?). If you ever find out the church in which this marriage was performed, please let me know. Thanks.
